Travis R. Barlow

VP Enterprise Resilience Services, CyberShell

Biography

Travis Barlow has spent more than 25 years making organizations and the security community genuinely safer. As VP of Enterprise Resilience Services at CyberShell, he leads advisory programs for leadership teams navigating the incidents that define the modern threat landscape. His track record spans 580+ incident response engagements across financial services, healthcare, government, and critical infrastructure.

Before CyberShell, Travis served as a Partner at KPMG Canada advising the country’s most complex organizations on cybersecurity strategy and executive readiness, and held senior executive roles at GoSecure, including SVP of Advanced Security Services.

In 2011, he founded AtlSecCon — the Atlantic Security Conference — starting with 42 attendees and a belief that great security education shouldn’t require a corporate travel budget. Fifteen years later, AtlSecCon draws
approximately 1,700 attendees annually and is recognized as one of Canada’s most inclusive security events. He also founded the Halifax Area Security Klatch (HASK), a monthly community meetup active for over a decade.
